Softball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Hawks vs. Union Grove Christian Patriots
Forsyth Home Educators proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Union Grove Christian Patriots 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since March 5, 2024.
Abigail Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
