Softball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

Centennial saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Tomball Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Ava Ellis was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalie Randall, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Centennial's record is now 3-1. As for Tomball, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Centennial will take on Henderson at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Tomball, they will face off against Lake Belton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
