Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Easthampton/Hampshire). They never let the Holyoke Purple Knights get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Wednesday. The Eagles not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2024 (when they won 22-4).

Patrick Larson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Chris Gallagher was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Easthampton/Hampshire always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Easthampton/Hampshire's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Holyoke, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easthampton/Hampshire will head out to take on Westfield Technical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holyoke, they will venture away from home to face off against Chicopee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pacers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.36 runs per game on average), something the Purple Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
