1A Region 4 recap October 1, 2013
St. Jude Educational Institute moved up to 306 from 335 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A Region 4. The Pirates were able to move up by topping St. Luke's Episcopal 32-18.
Fayetteville took down Alabama School for the Deaf 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Notasulga's Alexander Woodard and Aurick Cloud have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Woodard has thrown for 205 yards this season, while Cloud has 10 catches for 177 yards. Dustin Ingram from the Wolves leads the league in rushing with 662 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Loachapoka takes on Winterboro. As it stands, the Indians are in first, while the Bulldogs are in seventh.
