Baseball Recap: Hereford Whitefaces vs. Randall Raiders
The matchup between Hereford and Randall on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Whitefaces took a 16-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Whitefaces were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 1-0.
Gavin Hill made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Noah Zamora, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Hereford's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-11-1.
