There's no place like home for Brownwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Lampasas Badgers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Brownwood never let Lampasas on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 25-19.

Hannah Deen paced Brownwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Deen got some help from Icess Hall and her 25 assists.

Brownwood's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Lampasas, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Brownwood is taking a road trip to face off against Llano at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lampasas, they will take on Mumford in a tournament on Thursday.
