Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Comes Up Short

East Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Mid-Buchanan Dragons, falling 52-18. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Dragons are ranked 56th).

East Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Mid-Buchanan, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Buchanan will host West Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Plattsburg at 6:00 p.m.
