Baseball Game Preview: Riverview Sarasota Rams vs. Barron Collier Cougars

The Riverview Sarasota Rams will head out to face off against the Barron Collier Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverview Sarasota is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Riverview Sarasota came up short against Venice on Thursday, falling 9-1.

Meanwhile, Barron Collier won against IMG Academy Blue on Wednesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Barron Collier beat Maryville by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Khayden Collier was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Casey Johnson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Barron Collier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Barron Collier's record is now 10-3. As for Riverview Sarasota, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
