Wylie is 10-0 against North Garland since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Wylie Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Garland Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North Garland will be up against a hot Wylie team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Wylie had just enough and edged Wylie East out 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since November 21, 2023.

Meanwhile, North Garland hadn't done well against Garland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. North Garland walked away with a 55-46 win over Garland. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 602nd, while the Owls are ranked 1273rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for North Garland, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
