Soccer Recap: Lane Tech Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Taft

Lane Tech faced Taft in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Champions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Lane Tech couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Sebastian Bernal, who's now up to three this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lane Tech fell to 12-1. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Lane Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taft, they will face off against Crystal Lake South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
