Basketball Recap: Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Jackson Academy lost against Patrician Academy back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 53-40 to the Saints.

Despite the defeat, Jackson Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kayden Moore went 8-for-16 to rack up 18 points and five boards. Darren Burroughs was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Jackson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Jackson Academy and Patrician Academy will both be playing Southern Academy the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Saints will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
