Baseball Recap: United Comes Up Short

The United Lions came up short against the Windber Ramblers on Friday and fell 9-4. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Felix was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. James Kordish was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

United now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Windber, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United will host Conemaugh Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windber, they will square off against Penn Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
