Volleyball Game Preview: Wayland-Cohocton Eagles vs. Honeoye Bulldogs

The Wayland-Cohocton Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Honeoye Bulldogs at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wayland-Cohocton has three straight wins, Honeoye has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Wayland-Cohocton will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Haverling, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rams on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Honeoye came up short against Campbell-Savona on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Wayland-Cohocton's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Honeoye, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Wayland-Cohocton took their victory against Honeoye in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
