Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the John Paul II Centurions, falling 4-1. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in January.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for John Paul II, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Geneva the next time they take the pitch. John Paul II will host Geneva at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Holy Cross will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
