Basketball Recap: Rantoul Comes Up Short

Rantoul lost against Danville back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rantoul Eagles came up short against the Danville Vikings, falling 64-40. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Rantoul's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Danville, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rantoul will welcome Arthur-Okaw Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Arthur-Okaw Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Danville, they will host Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
