Volleyball Recap: Mahnomen/Waubun Takes a Loss

Mahnomen/Waubun lost against Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunderbirds took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Mahnomen/Waubun dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Polk County West [Climax/Fisher], the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Mahnomen/Waubun didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] on the 4th. As for Polk County West [Climax/Fisher], they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Warren-Alvarado-Oslo on the 4th.
