Recap: Tattnall County Warriors vs. Vidalia Indians

The Tattnall County Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vidalia. While losing is never fun, Tattnall County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while Vidalia is ranked 155th).

It was another big night for Jayon Coleman, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Vidalia. Another player making a difference was DJ Wallace, who scored six points along with two steals.

Tattnall County's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Vidalia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Tattnall County will be playing at home against Toombs County at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Vidalia, they will head out on the road to challenge Appling County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Appling County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
