Basketball Recap: Cashion Skates Past Oklahoma Bible with Ease

Cashion had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 49-point drubbing they dealt Oklahoma Bible on Tuesday. The Cashion Wildcats breezed by the Oklahoma Bible Trojans to the tune of 82-33. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Trojans are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Cashion, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. As for Oklahoma Bible, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cashion will host Watonga at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oklahoma Bible, they are taking a road trip to face off against Drummond at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th.
