Soccer Game Preview: Roseville vs. Twelve Bridges

The Roseville Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roseville will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Roseville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Nevada Union with a sharp 3-0 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Miners are ranked 928th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roseville hit Nevada Union with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Gorovyy, Lucca Santos, and Jude Navarro.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Twelve Bridges was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Placer finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Roseville pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. Twelve Bridges' draw gives them a new season record of 3-9-2.

Roseville took their victory against Twelve Bridges in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roseville since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
