Volleyball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Windsor Charter Academy + How To Watch

Dayspring Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Dayspring Christian Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Windsor Charter Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 26-24.

Ashley Teele paced Dayspring Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Teele got some help from Addy Konzek and her 15 assists. Finally, Teele was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

The win was the fourth in a row for Windsor Charter Academy, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Dayspring Christian Academy will take on Holyoke in a tournament on Saturday. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they will be playing at home against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
