Lee's Summit West had won seven straight road games dating back to last season and Andi Gardner did her part to make it eight on Thursday. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Blue Springs Wildcats for which the team can thank Gardner, who had 22 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 20 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Lee's Summit West was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 23-25, 25-12.

Lee's Summit West's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Blue Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Lee's Summit West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against St. Teresa's Academy on the 4th.
