Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Clements Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Fort Bend Clements had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-47 W against the Fort Bend Bush Broncos. This was a revenge game for the Rangers: when they faced off against the Broncos back in January, they had to take a 57-46 loss.

Fort Bend Clements' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aziz Olajuwon, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Olajuwon's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keshav Vijaykumar, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.
