Baseball Recap: Valley View Eagles vs. Lakeside Lancers
Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Lakeside Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Tuesday.

Tyler Bonenfant was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Valley View is 2-1 when Bonenfant allowstwo or fewer earned runs, but 2-5 otherwise.
