Recap: Young Americans Christian Eagles vs. Central Georgia Arts

The Young Americans Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-27 victory over Central Georgia Arts. The victory was nothing new for Young Americans Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.

Young Americans Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kassidy Scott out in front who scored 11 points along with seven steals and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for Scott. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Housworth, who scored 17 points along with three steals.

Young Americans Christian pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Central Georgia Arts, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Young Americans Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Dominion Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Dominion Christian is ranked 272nd, while Young Americans Christian is ranked 285th). As for Central Georgia Arts, they will head out on the road to face off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Springs Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday.
