Center Grove skates past Greenwood with ease

Recap: Center Grove Trojans vs. Greenwood Woodmen

The Center Grove Trojans stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greenwood 81-48 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Center Grove has managed all season.

Among those leading the charge was Michael Ephraim, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Spellman, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.

Center Grove is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Center Grove won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Whiteland at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th. One thing working in Whiteland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. Greenwood will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Decatur Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Decatur Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Greenwood in Indiana (Decatur Central is ranked 58th, while Greenwood is ranked 246th).
