Volleyball Recap: Norco Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Norco duked it out with Elsinore on Monday. The Cougars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Elsinore found their leader in freshman Andrew Bermudez, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Norco has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Elsinore, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Norco will venture away from home to challenge Corona at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Elsinore, they will be playing at home against Temescal Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
