Basketball Recap: Sherwood Takes a Loss

Sherwood lost against Montrose back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sherwood Marksmen received a blow as they fell 55-41 to the Montrose Blue Jays.

Sherwood has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Montrose, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Sherwood will look to defend their home court on Monday against El Dorado Springs at 8:00 p.m. As for Montrose, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-29 defeat against Kingsville on the 14th.
