Volleyball Recap: Wylie Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wylie came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Burleson Elks by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Kiki Bolden paced Wylie's offense, picking up seven kills. Bolden got some help from Annalise Loudermilk and her eight assists. Bolden was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wylie's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Burleson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Wylie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Ryan on the 23rd. As for Burleson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Granbury on the 23rd.
