Basketball Recap: Tohatchi Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Tohatchi extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kyle Yazzie. The Tohatchi Cougars blew past the Cuba Rams 67-46 on Friday thanks in part to Yazzie, who went 11 for 18 on his way to 25 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Tohatchi's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Cuba, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tohatchi Cougars duke it out with the Ignacio Bobcats at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tohatchi is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.3 points per game this season. Cuba has already played their next contest, a 55-43 defeat against Mesa Vista on the 14th.
