Softball Recap: Dodson Comes Up Short

Dodson fell victim to Winnfield and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dodson's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Winnfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dodson will challenge Union Parish at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winnfield, they will square off against Byrd at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.58 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
