Crescenta Valley waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Culver City Centaurs 3-0. The Falcons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Crescenta Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Culver City, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10.

Crescenta Valley and Culver City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Falcons will square off against Glendale at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (221 vs. 919). Meanwhile, Culver City (ranked 290th) will meet Leuzinger (ranked 1032nd) at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
