Morgan County had won five straight games and Camryn Scherer did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Callaway Cavaliers with plenty of help from Scherer, who had nine digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Morgan County's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Morgan County will square off against Brookwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Callaway, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Pike County on the 21st.
