Morgan County had won five straight games and Camryn Scherer did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Callaway Cavaliers for which the team can thank Scherer, who had nine digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

Morgan County's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Morgan County will take on Brookwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Callaway, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Pike County on the 21st.
