Baseball Game Preview: St. Edward Eagles vs. Benedictine Bengals

The St. Edward Eagles will head out to square off against the Benedictine Bengals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Edward is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

St. Edward is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past New Albany 9-3 on Saturday. St. Edward not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 16, 2024 (when they won 27-0).

Meanwhile, Benedictine didn't have quite enough to beat Lake on Saturday and fell 3-2.

St. Edward's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Benedictine, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
