Basketball Recap: Hokes Bluff Skates Past Valley Head with Ease

There's no place like home for Hokes Bluff, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They breezed by the Valley Head Tigers to the tune of 50-15 on Saturday. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Hokes Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Valley Head, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Hokes Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-26 win against Fyffe on the 30th. As for Valley Head, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Valley Head Tigers take on the Crossville Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
