Soccer Recap: San Diego Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

San Diego's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Point Loma Pointers onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Cavers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pointers, too.

San Diego's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Point Loma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5-1.

Coincidentally, San Diego and Point Loma will both be playing Cathedral Catholic the next time they take the pitch. San Diego will head out to face Cathedral Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Point Loma will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
