Softball Recap: West Campus Takes a Loss

West Campus played against Fairfield on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

Miriya Yeung made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Milana Hess, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

West Campus' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fairfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

West Campus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Valley on the 2nd. As for Fairfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 22-0 win against Burbank on the 2nd.
