Volleyball Recap: Boling Comes Up Short

Boling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Roughnecks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 10-25, 25-18.

Columbia can attribute much of their success to Kylie Stavinoha, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Stavinoha a new career-high.

Boling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Columbia, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Looking ahead, Boling will be playing at home against Terry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia, they will be taking part in a tournament against Louise at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
