Football Recap: Atlantic Collegiate Academy's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lake City came into Friday's game looking for another win against Atlantic Collegiate Academy, but Quay Vereen wouldn't allow it. The Armada came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 39-28 on Friday with plenty of help from Vereen, who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.

Broderick Evans was another key player, rushing for 15 yards and a pair of scores. Those rushing yards were his first of the season.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Lake City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
