Trimble Tech is a perfect 4-0 against Polytechnic since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Parrots at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Trimble Tech and four for Polytechnic.

Trimble Tech came up short against Paschal on Tuesday, falling 20-1. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trimble Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Guijosa, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Polytechnic's offense. They lost 15-0 to South Hills on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Parrots have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Trimble Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Polytechnic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Trimble Tech got the 'W' when the teams last played back in February against Polytechnic by a conclusive 19-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
