Basketball Game Preview: Kent Denver Sun Devils vs. Eaglecrest Raptors

The Kent Denver Sun Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Eaglecrest Raptors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Kent Denver's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Kent Denver's tournament run continued when they took on Arapahoe on Friday. The Sun Devils managed a 64-60 win over the Warriors. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Sun Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Warriors are ranked 182nd).

Caleb Fay was his usual excellent self, putting up 25 points. The matchup was his 15th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Seyoum, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Eaglecrest waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Sabercats 65-34. With the Raptors ahead 42-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Kent Denver's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Eaglecrest, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
