Softball Recap: Fort Frye Wins Going Away Against River

Fort Frye won the last time they faced River and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cadets put the hurt on the Pilots with a sharp 12-2 victory.

Jaden Cox was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season. Emmie Duskey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Fort Frye now has a winning record of 4-3. As for River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Fort Frye didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Warren on the 9th. As for River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-9 win against Shenandoah on the 9th.
