Sudan has gone a perfect 3-0 against Morton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hornets will venture away from home to square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m.

Sudan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hale Center just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 34-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls.

Morton fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over Crosbyton. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.

Morton's win bumped their record up to 2-5-1. As for Sudan, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Sudan was able to grind out a solid victory over Morton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 36-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
