Bexley barely beat Groveport-Madison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Cruisers on Thursday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Bexley's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Groveport-Madison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bexley will take on Centerburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Groveport-Madison, they will be playing at home against Canal Winchester at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
