Basketball Game Preview: Community Charter Titans vs. Lakeview Charter Lions

The Community Charter Titans will challenge the Lakeview Charter Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Community Charter and 13 for Lakeview Charter dating back to last season.

Community Charter is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against East Valley back in December of 2024 (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Community Charter was dealt an 85-25 loss at the hands of East Valley. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-11.

Ulises Borja was Community Charter's leading scorer, having posted six points. Aaron Gonzalez held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lakeview Charter duked it out withTriumph Charter on Friday. Lakeview Charter was outmatched by Triumph Charter and fell 83-27. The Lions were down 65-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Lakeview Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Community Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
