Basketball Recap: Bronson Vikings vs. Quincy Orioles
Bronson was the 54-50 winner over Quincy when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bronson Vikings took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Orioles.
Quincy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alex Dunn out in front who en route to 17 points and eight boards. Dunn is becoming a predictor of Quincy's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 9-10 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kempter, who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Bronson now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Quincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Bronson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quincy, they will challenge Schoolcraft at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Quincy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.
