While Crest put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Ashbrook. The Chargers put the hurt on the Greenwave with a sharp 21-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Aidan Ledbetter and Lily Pruett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Ledbetter tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Pruett tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Ledbetter went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double, while Pruett went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Allie Summer, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Bostwick, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Crest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

The victory made it two in a row for Crest and bumps their season record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Ashbrook, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crest will welcome Stuart W. Cramer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Storm have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ashbrook, they will host Garinger at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Greenwave are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
