Recap: Woodlake Tigers vs. Strathmore Spartans
The Woodlake Tigers lost against the Strathmore Spartans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Woodlake took a hard 55-38 fall against Strathmore.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hugo Cruz, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Rios, who scored nine points.
Woodlake's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Strathmore, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodlake will challenge Kings Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Strathmore, they will head out on the road to take on Corcoran at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Corcoran has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 498 points over their last seven games.
