Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Lions vs. Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls
The Cardinal O'Hara Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 62-50 to Archbishop Ryan. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cardinal O'Hara in their matchups with Archbishop Ryan: they've now lost four in a row.
Archbishop Ryan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaden Murray led the charge by scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that Murray scored 15 or more points. Darren Williams was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Cardinal O'Hara bumped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Archbishop Ryan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.
Cardinal O'Hara will be playing at home against La Salle College at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. La Salle College has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-4 during that stretch of close contests. As for Archbishop Ryan, they will head out on the road to square off against West Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
