Baseball Game Preview: Casa Roble Rams vs. Dixon Rams

Casa Roble are taking a road trip to square off against Dixon at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Dixon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Casa Roble, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Casa Roble needed a bit of extra time to put away Woodland. They won by a run and slipped past the Wolves 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since May 13, 2024.

Jackson Pitnikoff was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Easton Funk was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Dixon didn't have quite enough to beat Destiny Christian Academy last Friday and fell 4-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kai Mulitsch-Reynolds made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Isacc Santos also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Casa Roble, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Casa Roble beat Dixon 7-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Casa Roble since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
